Report
The main body of the report must consist of at least 8 pages with a font size of 12 pts. In addition, the report will have a cover page, table of contents, and a list of references. The report will illustrate how local organizations in the UAE (e.g., Etihad Airways, EMAAR, DUBAL, IKEA, Zayed University, DP World, Emirates Airlines, etc.) benefit from such topic.
The report must describe the following aspects of your topic:
- definitions,
- characteristics,
- advantages,
- limitations,
- systems that support your topic,
- any other points that you see as being relevant.
Project Presentation
- Each team will be allowed 15-minutes to present their work to the class, followed by a Q&A session. Plan on using time effectively.
- The presentation format is open, however, the audience should feel well informed about the project and its outcomes after attending the presentation.

- Good (2 Points): Sentences are structured and words are chosen to communicate ideas clearly and effectively. - Developing (1.5 Points): Sentences structure and words choice need some editing to communicate ideas clearly and effectively. Sequencing of ideas within paragraphs and transitions between paragraphs need work to make the points easy to follow. The purpose of the writing is partially achieved. All requirements of
the assignment may not be fulfilled. - Weak (1 Point): Sentences structure and words choice need major editing to communicate ideas clearly and effectively. Sequencing of ideas within paragraphs and transitions between paragraphs need a lot of work to make the points easy to follow. The purpose of the writing is not fully achieved. All requirements of the assignment may not be fulfilled.
- Unacceptable (0,5 Points): Sentences structure and choice of words interfere with clear communication of ideas. Sequencing of ideas within paragraphs make the points difficult to follow. The purpose of the writing is not achieved. Requirements of the assignment have not been fulfilled.
- Originality & Proper Use of References
- Good (2 Points): The work is original showing the true capability of the student and sources, if used, are properly referenced.
- Developing (1.5 Points): The work is original showing the true capability of the student, but sources are not
properly/sufficiently referenced. - Weak (1 Point): Some of the work may not be original, and/or does not reflect the true capability of the student, and/or some sources are not properly referenced.
- Unacceptable (0,5 Points): The work is not entirely original, does not show the true capability of the student.
- Content: Approach & Methodology
- Good (2 Points): The approach is suitable and the methodology utilized is well explained. The overall logic is
interesting and well presented - Developing (1.5 Points): The approach and methodology are suitable, but not enough detail is presented or the logic was unclear at times.
- Weak (1 Point): The approach may not be the best one given the requirements, and/or the methodology
utilized is not well explained. - Unacceptable (0,5 Points): The approach is not suitable, and/or the methodology is difficult to follow.
- Completeness: Coverage & Detail
- Good (2 Points): All required topics are covered in a good balance between coverage and detail in the allowed space.
- Developing (1.5 Points): Some of the required topics are not covered, or there is an imbalance between coverage and detail.
- Weak (1 Point): Most required topics are not covered, or there was a lack of coverage and/or detail.
- Unacceptable (0,5 Points): There is a serious lack of coverage and/or detail.
